Pilot Course Description

Students use ScratchJr to understand foundational computer science skills.  Along the way, they’ll understand the basics of computer interactions with unplugged and digital citizenship focused activities.

Learning Objectives

Each lesson plan is designed to enable students to achieve specific learning outcomes related to course aligned computer science competencies. For example, at the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Express that computer scientists solve problems.

  • Apply problem-solving skills by coming up with a solution to a problem.

  • Demonstrate how to drag and drop on a device.
