Unplugged STEM Activities

One of the many ways to teach computer science is through unplugged activities. These types of projects are essentially computer lessons without the computer. Unplugged activities are designed to be conducted offline, away from devices, and reinforce basic computer science concepts through thought exercises, movement, and collaboration. These lessons are perfect for teachers that are looking to engage different types of learners in their classroom or continue computer science education in a school that is not 1:1 with devices.

Unplugged is one of the Core Pillars of Ellipsis Education. Since computer science is more than just coding, Codelicious courses include coding, unplugged, digital citizenship, and STEM career lessons as well as hardware integrations. All lesson types allow educators to present a holistic view of computer science to their students.
